Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for, or holder of, a valid Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants also considered
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions for speech, language, and communication challenges
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with classroom educators to integrate support
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress records in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Engage actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to broader student success
This position offers a highly competitive hourly rate between $45 and $55, with a manageable elementary-focused caseload so you can devote attention to each child’s unique needs.
