Pediatric SLP in Henrico, VA
Take the next step in your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. In this vital, contract-based role, you’ll work with a diverse caseload of K–12 students, providing assessments, therapy services, and playing a key part in Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams. With two openings available, there are opportunities for both seasoned professionals and those beginning their Clinical Fellowship Year. Both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time schedules can be accommodated, allowing you to find the work-life balance that suits you best.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; outstanding Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- School-based experience advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of pediatric and school-age communication disorders
- Excellent skills in collaboration, communication, and documentation
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluations and direct therapy to K–12 students, addressing a range of speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and support for treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with general education and special education teams, as well as families
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture
