School Speech and Language Pathologist | Richmond, Virginia

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Virginia SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Ability to collaborate with SLPAs and onsite facilitators
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- A commitment to fostering student growth and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of communication disorders in students of various ages
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with district and state mandates
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other therapists to support student success
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs and coordinate with onsite facilitators as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to plan interventions and monitor student progress
