Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Recent experience with pediatric caseloads, preferably in schools
- Comfort and professionalism delivering services in both home and school settings
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, families, and administrators
- Must complete VA Dept. of Social Services background check promptly
- Proof of a recent TB test required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students with varying speech and language needs
- Perform screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer services as outlined in students’ IEPs, adapting approaches to each setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
