Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) licensure in Texas
- Minimum of one year of hands-on school-based SLP experience
- Strong background working in elementary or early childhood educational settings
- Experience with self-contained classrooms highly desirable
- No SLPA or CFY applicants at this time
- Up-to-date licensure with ability to provide license number and proof
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to elementary-aged students, supporting speech, language, social communication, and cognitive communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized therapy plans
- Document student progress, maintaining clear and timely records
- Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of early childhood learners
- Provide support within self-contained settings as required
