A K-12 school in Renton, WA is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to cover maternity leaves. These contract positions will support students from now through June 17th and from the beginning of May through June 17th, respectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credential/license appropriate for school settings
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 school environment
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
