Speech Language Pathologist in Redwood City, CA
Put your expertise to work helping students thrive as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic contract role supporting schools in the vibrant Redwood City area. This full-time opportunity begins August 7, 2026, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses, providing essential support where it’s needed most. In this role, you’ll serve as a valuable resource, adding capacity due to high student numbers, rather than being the primary SLP at any single location. Your schedule will keep things fresh—expect to work at a different school each day of the week, supporting current teams and assisting with assessment needs related to caseload overloads.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in changing environments and communicate effectively with diverse school teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students as needed
- Assist with comprehensive assessments to help address high caseloads
- Support on-site SLPs with interventions, IEP documentation, and compliance
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to drive student success
- Rotate among school sites daily according to assignment schedule (Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm)
- Contribute to an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students
