Speech Language Pathologist in Range, AL
Make a meaningful difference supporting students across a dynamic PreK-12 environment! This full-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a contract-to-hire role. Bring your expertise to a setting where every day offers new challenges and rewards, working with a diverse caseload and collaborating across three school sites—including preschools and community-based homes.
Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule with hours from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You will have the chance to nurture communication skills for approximately 75 students, making positive, long-lasting impacts.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or appropriate State Department of Education (SDE) certification
- Previous experience working in a school-based pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple sites and grade levels (PreK–12)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license for travel between sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs from PreK through 12th grade
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Provide services at three different school sites, including preschools and in-home/community settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to a supportive, student-centered work environment
