Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as required for school-based practice
- Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and case management in school settings
- Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, collaborating closely with educators and parents
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions in accordance with best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input on student goals, modifications, and support strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current on effective intervention techniques
