School Speech Language Pathologist - Quincy, Massachusetts

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Holds or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid State SLP licensure and credentials required for school-based practice
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Organized, flexible, and adept at managing a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine service needs
- Develop targeted treatment plans and set measurable goals for student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support academic and social outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the school’s special education initiatives
