Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Holds or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid State SLP licensure and credentials required for school-based practice
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Organized, flexible, and adept at managing a dynamic caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine service needs
  • Develop targeted treatment plans and set measurable goals for student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support academic and social outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support the school’s special education initiatives
