Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and experience providing therapy and evaluations in compliance with school guidelines
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP mandates
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and parents to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt therapeutic approaches based on student progress and feedback
