Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for practicing SLP in the local school system
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on caseload in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct speech/language assessments and evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and related service providers to support student success
- Develop, update, and document progress on IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate records and timely reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
