Pre K Pre-School School Speech Pathology | Brockton, Massachusetts

This contract opportunity runs from September 3rd to November 25th, covering a maternity leave in a vibrant Pre-K program near Brockton, MA. You’ll provide essential speech-language services to both integrated and sub-separate classes of preschoolers with varying needs.
Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current license/certification in Massachusetts
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with Pre-K or preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Skilled in behavior management strategies for young learners
- Comfortable collaborating with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
- Adaptability and a positive, supportive approach
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to preschool students in both inclusive and specialized settings
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to each child's unique IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and special education staff
- Provide guidance to staff and families regarding AAC devices and communication supports
- Document services and monitor progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Assist with behavior management strategies to support student participation and engagement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for planning and progress reporting
