Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Experience or familiarity working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage and organize caseload documentation efficiently
- Compassion for working with children across a range of communication challenges
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide scheduled speech-language therapy sessions for students in K-12
- Maintain progress records and monitor students’ improvements
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences as needed
