Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold an active SLP license in the state of Massachusetts
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Comfort working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Current knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Design and deliver individualized therapy sessions, adapting interventions for student needs
- Coordinate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student success
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment for all students
