ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract opportunity in Puyallup, Washington. This position provides the opportunity to support K-12 students while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and related service providers. Whether you are an experienced SLP, a Clinical Fellow (CF), or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings (SLP).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports (SLP).
- Implement therapy plans and document student progress under the supervision of an SLP (SLPA).
- Support students in developing communication skills that promote academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington Speech-Language Pathologist license or Washington SLPA credential required.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required for SLP and CF candidates.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree meeting Washington SLPA requirements for SLPA candidates.
- Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.
Experience:
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
- New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship are welcome to apply.
