Key Qualifications:
- Holds a current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- School-based SLP experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for helping K-12 students reach their fullest potential
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain detailed and organized records of student progress and therapy plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer support and training to classroom staff as needed
