Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/SLPA) to support students in a school district in Waterboro, ME for the full academic year. This role focuses on helping students develop the skills necessary for academic success and daily functioning within the school environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
Active Maine SLP/SLPA License
Previous school-based experience preferred (but not required)
