Speech Therapist in Olympia, WA

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for Washington state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly PreK–4th grade, preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
Role Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language services to students from PreK through 4th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families regarding student progress and needs
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and relevant documentation
- Deliver therapy sessions that address a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns
- Participate in eligibility and staffing meetings, offering expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain records and comply with state/federal regulations for school-based services
