Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Punta Gorda, FL

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (Florida)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individual and group, within school settings
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Consult and partner with classroom teachers and staff to support generalization of skills
- Engage with families, providing updates and resources to encourage student progress at home
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech-language services
