Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Mississippi State SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Holding or actively pursuing ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student support
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders to school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and necessary compliance paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and ongoing training sessions
- Offer guidance and education to teachers and families to support student progress across learning environments
