Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Chepachet, RI

Provide speech and language therapy services in an elementary school setting in Chepachet, RI. This contract position offers a full-time schedule supporting pediatric students with diverse communication needs. The ideal candidate will hold current Rhode Island SLP licensure and have a strong background working with children in school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for elementary-aged students
- Implement evidence-based therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing services to pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days per week, aligned with the school calendar
