Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Warwick, RI

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with moderate to severe and behavioral needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative teamwork
- Ability to provide therapy, conduct assessments, and create effective treatment plans tailored to diverse students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to K-8th grade students with a variety of needs
- Manage a caseload focused on students with significant behavioral challenges
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s success
- Participate in regular meetings, professional development, and ongoing learning
