Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- CCC-SLP or candidates completing CFY will be considered
- Experience supporting students with severe behavioral or communication challenges preferred
- Prior background in school settings is helpful
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills essential
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve with creative strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language assessment, therapy, and intervention services to K-8th grade students with severe and behavioral needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to ensure cohesive support
- Document progress and maintain records in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation to staff and family teams regarding therapeutic best practices
