Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible for CCC-SLP or CFY status
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-age children, especially those with severe and/or behavioral needs
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility, patience, and excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language intervention services to K-8th grade students on a severe and behavioral caseload
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and help develop specialized IEPs to address student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate communication and promote student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school guidelines
- Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development
