Qualifications:
- Hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Possess or be eligible for Alabama Educator SLP Certification (may begin with pending cert)
- School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
- Comfort working across elementary through high school populations
- Strong evaluation, therapy planning, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in assigned schools
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to inform IEPs and support student success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and administrators
- Maintain timely and accurate records and participate in meetings as required
- Rotate between assigned campuses, managing schedules efficiently with a total caseload not exceeding 60
