Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington State SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Background working in K-12 schools is preferred
- Passion for in-person service; teletherapy/remote services will not be considered
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborates effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
- Flexibility to support a range of ages and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide comprehensive assessments, documentation, and data-driven progress reports
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
- Consult with teachers and parents to maximize student success
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education
