What We’re Seeking:
- Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Virginia
- Open to SLP-CFY and SLP-CCC candidates passionate about working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Experience or coursework in school-based settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between locations in the assigned service area
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across multiple schools (K-12 populations)
- Complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain all required documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school staff to develop and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Deliver therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals, primarily at school sites within the service areas
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule of 7.33 hours per day, five days per week throughout the school year. As part of this contract role, you’ll impact multiple communities while developing your professional skills and broadening your clinical experience.
