Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Hold current certification and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school settings with elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and IDEA guidelines
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
  • Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicate goals, progress, and strategies to families and school staff
  • Participate in IEP and staffing meetings as a valued member of the student support team
