Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess (or be eligible for) SLP State licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Prior experience working with students in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Passion for helping children reach their speech and language goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents
- Attend meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance, training, and support to classroom staff regarding student communication needs
