Two contract SLP opportunities are available for the upcoming school year, with flexible scheduling and the chance to support students ranging from preschool through middle school. Candidates holding the CCC designation are preferred, and collaboration with SLPAs can be discussed based on needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current (or eligibility for) CCC-SLP credentials
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in a collaborative educational setting
- Adaptability and excellent communication skills
What You'll Do: Depending on placement, your caseload will focus on one of the following:
- Fegley Intermediate & Crisman Elementary: Serve approximately 100 students with varying needs (in collaboration with other SLPs; SLA support is negotiable).
- Porter Lakes Elementary (Developmental Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade): Provide early intervention and therapy to about 70–80 students, with 1–2 days of SLA support available.
- Split Caseload across Porter Lakes Elementary (Grades 2–3), Boone Grove Elementary (4–5), and Boone Grove Middle (6–8): Support approximately 75 students, with the flexibility to collaborate with licensed SLAs.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Partner with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to promote student success
- Facilitate effective communication and language development through engaging, evidence-based interventions
