Speech Language Pathologist in a School Based Setting
Fillmore, IN
Step into an impactful school-based opportunity supporting K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a school-based, contracted position near Fillmore, IN for the 26/27 school semester. This position offers the chance to provide high-quality speech-language therapy services across two welcoming school sites. You'll manage a dynamic caseload of 75-85 students and play a pivotal role in fostering communication skills crucial to each student’s growth.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Beginning July 31, 2026 and wrapping up at the close of the school year on May 31, 2027.
- Beyond direct therapy, those with CCC’s may have the chance to supervise SLPAs, broadening your professional impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Indiana DOE SLP licensure (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, especially if interested in SLPA supervision
- Experience with or a strong interest in serving a diverse K-12 caseload
- Familiarity with school-based evaluation, IEP development, and collaborative consultation
- Excellent communication skills with students, family members, and staff
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Complete thorough assessments and contribute to IEP planning and meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related services staff to support student progress
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
- Potential SLPA supervision responsibilities (if CCC’s held)
