Travel Speech Language Pathologist | School-Based | St. Lucie, FL
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist in St. Lucie, FL. This candidate will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders. This position emphasizes collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and academic success. This is also a great opportunity for travel clinicians, and we welcome candidates interested in taking on a travel assignment.
• Schedule: Full-time (35 hours/week) or Part-time
• Caseload: K-12
• Schools Assigned: 1-2 sites depending on assignment
• Contract Dates: 08/05/2026 - 06/01/2027

Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for services.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment data and student goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy in individual and group settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, assessment summaries, and IEP documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to develop measurable goals and strategies.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Florida State license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant special education laws.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a caseload efficiently.

• Competitive hourly rate of $35–$45 based on experience
