If you’re a Speech Language Pathologist passionate about supporting student success, this engaging contract opportunity awaits you onsite in a school-based setting near Pleasant Hill, OR. The role runs from August 25 through May 22, 2027, with a consistent 30-hour per week schedule—ideal for professionals seeking a fulfilling position with work-life balance.

You’ll serve two adjacent schools, providing impactful services to a caseload of 34 students. As the primary therapist, you will lead assessments, develop student-centered goals, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver direct therapy. This position requires a strong sense of independence, organizational proficiency, and the ability to coordinate meetings, manage cases, and prepare draft IEPs 7–10 days prior to meetings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Oregon SLP-CCC license required
  • Previous school-based SLP or SLPA experience preferred
  • Strong case management and documentation abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Confident communicator, able to collaborate with teams and families
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments in alignment with school protocols
  • Develop and update individualized goals and intervention plans
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings with stakeholders
  • Provide direct therapy services according to IEP requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication
