School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Creswell, Oregon
A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) who are passionate about supporting students’ communication development. This contract position runs onsite from August 25 through May 22, 2027, offering consistent hours (30 per week) across two conveniently neighboring schools. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 34 students, fostering their progress while collaborating with dedicated education teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Current OR SLP-CCC license required
- Previous school-based SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA experience preferred
- Strong case management skills; must be organized and able to independently coordinate meetings and documentation
- Proficient in developing goals, preparing IEPs 7-10 days prior to meetings, and communicating with team members and families
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and reliable in managing student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for students requiring speech/language intervention
- Develop individualized goals and create comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students onsite
- Case manage and coordinate services for a caseload of 34 students
- Draft well-prepared IEPs ahead of meetings and participate in IEP discussions
- Communicate progress to staff and families to ensure collaborative support
- Maintain detailed records and comply with all state and district requirements
