Speech Language Pathologist in Plainfield, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based environments or with school-aged children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple school sites
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to early childhood and elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and staff development days
- Consult with staff on strategies to foster communication skills in classroom settings
