Two immediate openings are available:
Role A:
- Work at an elementary school, focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Provide speech and language intervention to a caseload of elementary-aged children.
Role B:
- Serve Jr/Sr High School students with intellectual disabilities.
- Conduct assessments, design individualized therapy, and document progress for a high school caseload.
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Compassionate, collaborative, and able to adapt approaches for diverse student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families on communication goals
- Maintain progress reports, documentation, and logs per school requirements
- Adapt intervention strategies to suit the needs of each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and progress updates
