School Speech Language Pathologist - Fairport, New York

Assignments are available at an elementary school, focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or at a junior/senior high providing care for learners with intellectual disabilities. Bring your expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), utilizing your experience in school-based settings to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans. The contract will continue until permanent staff are hired, providing the chance to make a lasting impact while maintaining flexibility in your professional journey. The current pay ranges from $83 to $112 per hour, depending on assignment and experience.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential and licensure
- Previous experience in school settings, working with either elementary ASD or high school students with intellectual disabilities
- Ability to quickly build rapport and effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
