In this position, your expertise will help foster communication skills and academic progress within a supportive elementary school environment. You will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure each child receives exceptional care and customized plans.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) State License
- SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Educator Certification required
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with PreK-4th grade
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical, professional standards as an SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students referred or identified with needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students in small groups or one-on-one
- Maintain proactive and ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and staff
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Support students in achieving IEP goals aimed at enhancing functional communication and academic outcomes
