School Speech Language Pathologist - Pinson, Alabama
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP State License and current Educator Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working within a school environment highly preferred
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload independently and adapt to changing needs
- Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations as needed
- Provide progress updates and detailed reports, maintaining accurate student records
- Adapt interventions to support a wide range of communication needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
