School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Oneonta, Alabama
Step into a dynamic role working with young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school community. You’ll provide essential speech therapy services to approximately 50 students from PreK through 4th grade, fostering their communication development during a crucial stage of their education. Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure (State SLP License required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid educator certification for school-based practice
- Proven experience delivering speech/language therapy in schools
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive onsite speech and language therapy for PreK–4th grade students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff
- Attend required school meetings and participate as an engaged member of the educational team
