This full-time contract opportunity offers a Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, supporting PreK through Grade 12 students. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide vital speech and language services, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students thrive.
What’s needed to succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP licensure for school-based practice
- Experience or strong interest working with PreK-12 student populations
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Flexibility and initiative in a dynamic school environment
In this role, you’ll:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Manage a diverse caseload spanning PreK through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training and resources to teachers, families, and other educational staff
- Foster positive student relationships and advocate for communication needs
- Adapt plans and interventions according to students’ progress
