Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students’ communication development in a contract-based role designed for Speech-Language Pathologists with school experience. This opportunity offers a structured schedule from Monday through Thursday, 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, serving students across PreK through 12th grade. The position is available immediately and extends through May 31, with the possibility for ongoing, long-term placement.
Preferred Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with school-aged populations
- Familiarity with a broad range of speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers and parents to support students’ communication in the classroom
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
- Adapt interventions to address diverse developmental levels, PreK through high school
- Participate in school activities and professional development as needed
