School Speech Language Pathologist - Philipsburg, Pennsylvania

In this role, you’ll manage a total of 55 thirty-minute therapy sessions per week, consisting of both individual and group treatments (16 individual, 37 group). The schedule is consistent, totaling approximately 35 hours each week. This provides an excellent balance between meaningful clinical interactions and manageable documentation responsibilities.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- An active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate (SLP-CCC; SLP-School designation preferred)
- Experience or interest in working with a broad K-12 population
- Ability to seamlessly transition between elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload across multiple locations
- Demonstrated compassion, adaptability, and communication expertise
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct therapy (individual and group) to students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with documentation standards
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student goal-setting
