Speech Language Pathologist in Philadelphia, PA

Make a difference supporting students in a dynamic school setting in the Philadelphia area! We are looking for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contracted, full-time roles within local schools. Three onsite positions are currently available: one focused on an elementary caseload, one serving students in grades 6-8, and one working with high schoolers. Each role offers the opportunity to collaborate with staff, engage students, and deliver critical speech and language services.
These positions offer a consistent 35-hour workweek from now through June 10, 2027. Onsite presence is required, as the district has already met its needs for virtual staff. You’ll support students during assigned hours between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM—no adjustments can be made to this schedule.
Qualifications:
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Prior school-based experience is mandatory
- Experience working in urban school communities strongly preferred
- Must be able to complete all Pennsylvania clearances before start
- Reliable transportation to and from work is essential
- Willingness to work strictly onsite (no remote or hybrid options)
- Comfortable with district expectations and local area
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educational staff
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Communicate effectively with families and school partners
