Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in a school setting with K-12 students is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to address diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop targeted treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and timely reporting
- Monitor and adjust interventions to achieve student goals throughout the school year
- Educate families and school teams on effective strategies for speech and language development
