Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP highly preferred; CFY candidates will also be considered
- Experience supporting students in a school setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to create tailored therapy and IEP plans for a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify communication delays or disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with special education staff and families
- Document progress, maintain case records, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students of varying ages and abilities
- Provide resources, coaching, and support to classroom teachers to facilitate carryover of strategies
- Promote a positive, inclusive environment that empowers every student to achieve their communication goals
