Speech Language Pathologist in Henrico, VA

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Current or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to working onsite; no remote or hybrid options
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create effective intervention plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on communication disorders
- Support students’ academic and personal development for greater classroom success
