- Ability to assess, plan, and deliver direct therapy services tailored to student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services directly to elementary students within the building
- Evaluate students for communication disorders and participate in eligibility processes
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare necessary reports
- Consult with educators and support staff to support inclusive educational practices
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student needs
- Engage students with creative, evidence-based interventions that facilitate learning and social engagement
