Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Peoria, IL | Birth to Age 5
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive early childhood program in Peoria, Illinois for the full school year. This full-time opportunity serves children from birth through age five in Head Start and Early Head Start programs, providing meaningful intervention during the most critical years of development.
Position Details

- Birth to age 5 caseload
- Head Start and Early Head Start programs
- Travel between three program sites with a designated home base
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for young children in early childhood settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and educational teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with the local school district to ensure quality services.
- Support home visitors by providing consultation and intervention strategies when outlined in a child's IFSP or IEP.
- Empower parents with strategies and resources to encourage communication development at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA CCCs preferred; strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
